Electrical Engineering is concerned with understanding, designing, implementing and using systems, ranging in complexity from simple electronic components, via integrated circuits and embedded systems to large scale semi-conductor devices, power systems and information networks as vast as the internet.
Busitema is in advanced stages of establishing a 4 MW solar power plant in collaboration with Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development. The plant will be managed by the University. The proceeds from the plant to Busitema University will be utilized in establishment of a national centre for solar technology training, research and innovations. This adds more evidence to the timely and critical need to launch this bachelor’s program to consolidate on the earmarked endeavours.
