The course is designed to introduce elementary concepts of business, practices in business and career paths by surveying functional areas of a business and management activities. The course provides an overview of business functions and the role of business in contemporary society. It also provides an overview and understanding on the current issues and challenges facing today’s businesses, both small and large.
