The Bachelor of Science Education (Economics) is a 3-year fulltime program designed to prepare students for a career in teaching economics at the secondary school level. The graduates undergo pedagogical training in economics, so to become skilled teachers of the subject with enough expertise in this field of study. The students obtain fundamental basics of economics, theories and principles that are very crucial for effective handling of this subject area to students in secondary schools and become modern teachers of the 21st century and beyond, prepared to dictate Economics in secondary schools in Uganda and beyond.
