The degree offers the opportunity to produce professionals in areas of procurement, transport and logistics which are critical to industries. The program is designed to equip students with skills and competence to work in procurement and supply departments both in the private and public sector both nationally and internationally. It is also meant to instill ethics on the training so as to produce holistic graduates who do not take part in corruption deals in the department.

- To enable learners to develop solutions from moral, professional and academic perspectives.
- To provide students with experience in the development of Supply Chain Systems necessary for solving business problems and making managerial decisions.
- To prepare the candidates to undertake research and pursue post-graduate studies
On completion of this course (BPM), students would be able:
- To apply knowledge gained on Procurement and Supply Chain Management, e-logistics, business transportation, strategic procurement channels, and advanced logistics problems
- To Acquire competent skills in core areas including supervising, purchasing, inventory control, supply chain, production, and retail aspects of the business
- To development and analyze Supply Chain Systems necessary for solving business problems and making managerial decisions.
- To analyze the manufacturing operations of a firm, address logistical problems to ensure smooth operations of the business.

- Holders of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent.
- Diploma holders from recognized institutions.
