Computer and Information technology directly dictate the way man thinks, plan, communicate and work. Given the recent acceleration in industrial development and other institutions in Uganda, there is a corresponding need for computer literate personnel to manage them. It is therefore necessary that our educational system produces computer literate graduates who are employable internationally, nationally and are able to solve soft problems of the society. Hence, the introduction of Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) and Computing degree programme at Busitema University is a step in the right direction.
