Introduction to Agribusiness
Agribusiness is the business sector encompassing farming and farming-related commercial activities. It involves all the steps required to send an agricultural good to market, namely production, processing, and distribution. This industry is an important component of the economy in countries with arable land since agricultural products can be exported. Agribusiness is a method of describing organizations and ventures that are identified and developing with handling food and other farm products. Agribusiness is additionally used to explain organizations that are engaged with promotion and delivery of farm items. These organizations include distribution centres, whole sellers, processors, retailers and a lot of other things. Any organization that participates in creation, promotion, and delivery of food is associated with agribusiness. It is like any other business but it’s limited to agricultural products.

As the name suggests, "AGRI" stands for Agriculture, and the term "Business". This business can be done on small or medium scale and can also be done on global level. Most practitioners state that this term "Agribusiness" was first discovered in 1957 by two Harvad Business School professors, John Devis and Ray Goldberg after they published a book called A concept of Agribusiness.
